To My Brother.

Barton you will be missed by so many.  I can't believe how many people have shared such special memories they have of you.  You really are a special person. I know our family was so blessed to have you in our lives. We are the lucky ones.  You ARE such a great brother to me and I cherish all the fun memories we had together.  Thanks for being such a good uncle to Kinzi. I absolutely loved watching you play and talk to her.  I can't wait till the day I get to see you again.  I am going to try a little harder. Be a little better. Follow your example you set for me.
With everything you had to deal with and go through and still you served a full time mission. You even received your associates with honors and I respect you so much. None of us will ever comprehend what a challenge that was for you.
I love you.

Until We Meet Again.

Thanks everyone for the help with the funeral and memorial service. Thanks for all the sweet words shown for my brother. Thanks for helping spread the word that he was missing. Thanks for taking and watching our kids. Thanks for the love and support. Your love and prayers have helped our family so much throughout all of these hard times.

Although things have been so difficult, we are so blessed to have a knowledge of the gospel. To know the Lord has a plan and we can be an eternal family and be with Barton again.  We have felt so close to our Savior and felt his love and know that Barton is finally happy and is taken care of.

(just a little p.s. when Barton left on his mission the rodeo-chedeski fire started. Now that he has left this earth the wallow fire has started.  I think the White Mountains don't like him leaving.)

Since I have know Phil's family, and not yours, I am not familiar with your family. But I just want you to know you've been in our prayers ever since your first e-mail when Barton went missing, and through your facebook posts with updates. Thank you so much for sharing this sweet testimony of eternal life with your readers. It brought tears to my eyes. You are a great example to all. You are still in our prayers.
