Sneak Peak

Being done with work has been fantastic and given me lots of time to relax, sleep in, and get everything ready for Kinzi. I will post pictures when the room is officially done! Only a few things here and there that need to be done. The room sure has turned out so dang cute! Now that I am full term, I hope Kinzi knows she is more than welcome anytime she would like to come-although I have a feeling I still have a couple of weeks. I am due the 26th and my Doctor is leaving the 30th for a week so he said I need to have her before my due date so he does not have to worry about me while he is gone. At least he and I are both on the same page. Ahh, it became very real when the doc checked me at 35 1/2 weeks and I was dialated to a 1 and 75% effaced. But I know I can also walk around at a 1 for a month and nothing happen, but it still just made me realize how well, REAL this is. Carazy!

Here is the only sneak peak Ill give of her room. This might be my favorite thing in her room! I bought it at a thrift store for $8! It was a ugly gold color with some crystals missing. I painted it blue and my sister and I added some crystals-including the blue ones. I love the way it turned out.

And all her clothes and blankets are washed and put away. I think she has enough clothes...what do you think?

Lets get the party started!

This past weekend my sisters and mom all got together and had a sister weekend. There were no kids, just us 6 ladies ok and Kinzi got to come. She was the only baby allowed I guess. We rented a hotel and all stayed together and, didnt sleep. BUT worth it.

We started off the weekend the way it should be and got pedicures. Fantastic. I hadnt had once since two years ago when we went wedding dress shopping for me haha.

Which ones are the cutest?

We then had dinner at IHOP which is becoming a tradition since our last trip. Then headed to our favorite store-Savers! Holla! We decided to all pick out outfits with the same color. They let me pick...can you guess the color?

I picked Hot Pink in honor of my little Kinzi girl. Since her room has absolutley no pink in it-I thought maybe it would be ok to pick pink this one time.

Then after getting all pinked out, we tried to find something to do. Walked down main st to Sweet Cakes and it was closed. Then wanted some Bahama Bucks so we made a stop there about ten min before they closed-oops, but they were very nice about it.
OH AND, they have a new flavor-Birthday Cake. Probably the best thing ever.
Then we headed out to sing some Karaoke!! We danced and sang along with everyone else who sang. We put in our names for more than 10 songs and sang, once.

Haha water for the mormon girls.

We then headed back to our hotel and were ready for bed. But oh wait we didnt go to sleep. We all brought clothes we wanted to get rid of and went through them and took eachothers clothes home! Yeah I know, greatest idea ever. So we all came home with new clothes and didnt have to spend any money on them.

So we finally went to sleep around 3 and woke up the next morning at 8. Holy Moly. We were a wee bit tired. The next day was my baby shower so we had to get up early. But it was nice because it was in the lobby of our hotel. Worked out great.
My sister-in-law Sam provided almost all of the cutest decorations for the shower. I couldnt of pictured it any better. Thanks Sam I am so glad you are apart of this family!! And to ALL my sisters for the best "tweets" ever. I really like sweets so I decided thats what should be at the shower-it was awesome.

The Shower was a Bird theme-it was so cute!

Funny story, My mom brought Phil a present that he came and picked up afterwards. It was this shirt with paci's hanging down on it. She told him it was HIS nursing shirt haha-my mom is such a dork.

Kinzi is already getting so spoiled!

My new diaper bag that my sister made. How cute is that right? I LOVE it and cant wait to use it!

This is my cousin Alisse and I. We are 3 weeks apart and both expecting baby girls! So fun!

They love eachother can ya tell?

So a GREAT weekend was had by all. Thanks for everyone who came and for the gifts it was an amazing turn out.
And thanks again to my sisters and mom for putting on a great shower! I love being best friends with all of you so we can do fun stuff like this together!
Time to plan another girls weekend...

Birthday time!

Happy Birthday to a special girl named Lo lo! Miss Lauren turns 21 today and here is a little shout out to her! For all of you who dont know her here are some fun facts... She has thee prettiest singing voice of anyone I know. Its like that gorgeous voice you hear in the choir that you always wanna know who it is, well its her. She always has a positive attitude and outlook on life. She is outstanding at making the ugliest faces. With that being said, she is also one of the prettiest girls I know. She plays the violen very well. She is humble. She is a good wifey to her husband. She had two left contacts for a while and would run into corners a lot. (has that changed yet though?) She is the only person I want to go to dances with. Well besides my husband, but he will only dance with me on the slow songs. She was Mary Poppins at Spring Sing for EA and was the best soloist there. I know she would tell me the truth if I asked her if something was too tight on me, or looked stupid altogether. She says, "Your fine" a lot. and guess what lo? I do all the time now too. She loves her family. She is very funny. Even when she isnt trying. Oh lauren, ever since we were kids we have been such, WAIT! I have only known you since I was 18. oh oops. Well I hope your 21st birthday is the best one yet! Wish I could be there to celebrate with you! Now here are some pictures for your enjoyment... Oh and this video is on here just for you to laugh at. I couldnt decide which one to post but everytime I hang out with you and bring my camera, you always go through my pics and videos. so Here you go. Enjoy.

Ok and since Im home sick with nothing to do and have free time, here are some more videos that I know will make you laugh.

Woo hoo!

Welp, I hit 28 weeks today and out of the 2nd trimester and into the Last! WOO!
I am so ready for it to be June! And not because I am sick of being pregant and getting bigger and yada yada, but because I want my baby! I want to be a mommy!
I can't really complain about this pregnancy thus far. It has been great and I feel so blessed that it has been. We are both so excited. We bought the crib and changing table back in January-and if I remember right, Phil put it up that week :)
He is going to be the cutest dad, I just cant wait. We also have the room painted already too! He did that over spring break. I also keep buying cute clothes whenever I think she would be so cute in them. Yes I know, I shouldnt buy to many because I am going to get tons for my baby shower, but its my first child. And if I think something is cute (and cheap, always cheap) I will get it, especially if its 1.99! Come on! I had been worried since we found out the gender that the doctor was wrong since we found out so early. But no worries, I had a doctors appointment last wednesday and she is 100% girl! Good thing because her room is going to be SO cute.
She weighs just over 2 pounds and had a good time showing off for me and my mom at the appointment.
Now that I have hit my last trimester I think my body hit a unknown button or something and decided to shut down. This last week I have been so exausted, for no reason at all. And I can feel all the wonderful back pain too along with Heartburn, but I have had that since January. Poor phil has to deal with me complaining all the time about it. But although I do complain, is it wierd that I also really like all these symptoms? Im sure they will kick up here even more, but everything just reminds me that I am pregnant and have a baby coming soooon! Its just an amazing feeling to know that ever since I was little I have always just wanted to have a family and now its actually happening. Oh and I never really shared my experience about how excited I was to find out its a girl. If you are bored by this time, you can totally stop reading but I have not written any of this down so I might as well do it now.
I am the youngest in my family and never had a little brother or sister. Me being the girly girl I am have always wanted a little sister to do her hair and dress her up all cute. Well thats the whole reason I wanted a little girl so badly. Does that sound dumb? Thats why I talked myself into the fact that we were having a boy. I did not expect to hear it was a girl. Now I am not an emotional person, at all. You can ask my husband. I hardly ever cry. At movies, books, anything really. Don't get me wrong, I do cry, just not a lot. Well guess what, I was that happy when I found out it was a girl that I actually cried haha. Not expected. That was the only time I have cried during my whole pregnancy too. So I hope this little girl knows how special she is. Phil always ask's "can she play sports too?" haha he makes me laugh. He thinks that she is doomed to be "girly" girl because thats what he claims me as, since I did dance in high school and not sports baha. Oh I love him.
Well if I have not bored you with this yet I do not know what will. I just figured I havnt expressed how excited we are for June. Yeah, the sleepless nights, frustration and all. I know I might not be as excited then, but at least let me have my excitment now. We don't know what Exactly is ahead, but know our lives are going to be changed dramaticlly, and can't wait.

28 weeks ladies and gentlemen.

Couples Retreat.

For spring break we went camping with some of our friends and it was a blast. We did all the fun "camping" things. I probably ate too much food-but worth it. We slept in our tent for the first time since we got it from our wedding. FUN! Although it was freezing and we didnt have sleeping bags, just two blankets. I think I wore every shirt I brought along with phils and still froze. So we both didnt sleep much, but i really wanted to sleep in our tent haha. And if you ever want to go camping with us, you can. In our tent. We have about 7 person tent, that thing was huge-too bad I didnt get a picture. We were only there 2 days and 1 night. We just relaxed and ate and went shooting.

Me and Lo having fun with our guns.

The Husbands.

I even took our baby to go out shootin with us. She was great the whole time.

Thanks Lo lo and Don don for going camping and bringing your trailor so we didnt have to use the wilderness for the restroom-(cept that one time I woke up early and didnt want to wake you up haha). And for the caramels you brought that I ate most of. OH and the Killer Bunnies game. Yep.
We also had another couple there for a day, but they left before we went shooting and obviously thats when I took pictures. But it was fun to get out and take a break from everything.
